All the Other Stuff

I know sometimes some of this information might be helpful, so for those that visit my website and want to know a bit more about me here ya go…

Education

In 2008, I completed an advanced standing curriculum and received my Masters of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work.

In 2007, I earned my Bachelors of Social Work from James Madison University. I was involved in student events and organizations including the Take Back the Night program and Study Abroad program.

treatment modalities

Each client and situation is different but my style consists of using the following therapy modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. I have found that ACT and CBT work really well with clients that struggle with anxiety.
